I'm sure glad you made ANOTHER teabagger thread instead of just posting this in any one of the many others. There are probably hundreds - maybe thousands - of such useless videos on Youtube, are you going to make a new thread for each? Yes - I know I used the wrong word, but its more humorous this way.
Although I do laugh at your nonsense, to show that I have no hard feelings toward you, I'll even embed the the lame video for you.

What's pathetic is the fact that when people wake up and see what's going on, some other zombie who still believes the rhetoric is there to call them an extremist, a nut, or an anti-American fear monger.

Like any "ism" there is good and bad. The inbreds are using it as a downfall as if they never lived/used it before.

The government has continues to create more entitlements, is nationalizing private companies, and is trying to take over the health care system. Higher taxes and more programs equals socialism. There are no two ways about it. The more the government provides for the masses at the expense of the few, and takes the money of it's citizens in order to provide them with their necessities, the more the government controls the lives of it's people. This is absolutely opposite of what this country was founded on, and what made it great.

I'm sorry, but have you missed the Democrats, mostly Nancy Pelosi, calling the anti-Obamacare protesters un-American, which has been repeated by plenty of sheeple? It's a far cry from what was called anti-American regarding the war protesters, and the behaviour is very different. Also, recheck your figures on the war.
And with regard to our record deficits, I have never supported them, but let's not forget that the congress, which has been controlled by the Democrats for a few years now, are the ones that write the budgets. If they were so against Bush's desires for spending, they could have put together a smaller budget.

I've debunked this so many times in this forum it's getting old. Get this through your head, and stop believing the people who caused the problems that it was somehow the result of the deregulation. It was not an unfettered capitalist market that lead to the sub-prime mortgage crisis, it was the very regulations, under the guise of "anti-discrimination" rules, that caused the market to be opened up to the massive number of doomed loans, which is the root cause of the recession. Now add to that a spending bill passed just weeks into Obama's presidency, that was written mostly by a liberal activist group, that had to be passed before anyone could read it, and here we are in the downward spiral toward a real depression. Let's not forget that Obama campaigned on this being the worst economy since the Great Depression, but when his promises were proven failed (mostly he lied about them), and unemployment is still skyrocketing, he turns around and says "well, we didn't realize just how bad it was.". Big f&%king correction: the ARRA wasn't about fixing the economy, it was about getting all their long-time desires passed into law, and paying back his special interest groups.

Short Hand wrote:Universal Health care (or at least proposed to you) IS just a plan to provide reliable health care to every single American. THEY are not buying the Hospitals........ They are simply starting a new insurance system to replace a flawed system (PROVEN ! you are behind a good chunk of the world in Health care Rankings !) LIKE I said before, what use is it to have the worlds greatest Doctors when only a small percentage of your country can use them ? AND before you start ranting off about how this will raise taxes, and be more expensive.. Does it not specifically set out to lower health care costs in a country where you spend more then anyone else in the world ?I won't go into it in as much detail here, but I've posted in the other health care plan debate, what's wrong, and what could really fix the problems. It's not the insurance companies screwing people, and letting the government come in and offer insurance is not going to fix anything. The biggest cost in health care is malpractice insurance, because of how widespread the lawsuits have become. It is the legal system that needs reform, to reign in the massive awards for lawsuits, and the cost of healthcare will drasticly drop.

Your confusing regulation with DEREGULATION. You just proved me RIGHT with one of the worst written counter arguments I have ever seen typed in this forum. CAN you read what you just wrote.. You basically just said the market was deregulated / loosen up in order to make massive loans to people with no business having them, so that greedy bankers with loosen regulation could exploit this system. Regulation keeps the market from booming, but GOOD regulation keeps the market from crashing. Which is what this cowboy system has been for 80 + years.
Short Hand wrote:Also note you do NOT dig yourself out of a recession like this in a matter of six months. something this big is going to take a minimum of at least 2 to 3 years before we can see decent growth in the economy again.

Are you serious? Have you already forgotten the last 8 years? If I remember correctly, the republicans in charge passed a small bill that revoked more freedoms than any other since the Alien and Sedition acts passed by John Adams(also rebublican). I swear, some people have the memory span of goldfish. Incidently, most of those people are republicans.

People had signs saying "We're not Nazi's, Nancy!", which I particularly enjoyed. Here is a shot of a group opposed to the bill.
Right in the middle is one of my favority signs. It reads "STOP, you're starting to scare George Orwell"
Shut up you racist anti-American political terrorist you. You hate America, you hate the world!!!
Funny. I have seen NO ONE call any one who does not support the reform with such comments. BUT I do remember anyone against the disaster in Iraq or the Patriot act being called much WORSE.......
IF anything, anyone supporting the reform is being called such things.
ORLY?
