By now shouldn't most people see this is a bad plan for america?

if not please check the numbers provided by the CBO

I would say that most do see it, but the leaders are trying to ram it through anyway, with the heavy rhetorical support of the big unions. From the latest Rasmussen reports:

Health Care: 40% strongly opposed, 22% strongly in favor (total numbers: 53% opposed, 41% in favor)
Presidential Approval Index on a steady decline

I think the public sees what's going on, and is making it known. You just have to turn off the television to realise it.
