... i work for a Hyundai Dealer. This one particular customer had an R&B station on in their car, so i listened to it while i pulled their car in (since we can't mess with customer's radios)
the lady talking on the morning show said this: "I cannot tell you how seriously offended i am with Glenn Beck reserving the Lincoln Memorial for the MLK anniversary." After a couple minutes of ridiculing Glenn Beck, she then said "I dunno why he's doing this, i'm not sure what his program is going to be for it, and i don't have the details."
So basically she was talking @!#$, without even researching what she was talking @!#$ about. it honestly sounded to me that she meant "I don't like what Glenn Beck is doing because he is White" ... and this was on a nationally syndicated morning show.
She continued immediately after stating that she has no clue about glenn beck with "But this is why i am angry, we establish all these things after tragedies happen, like Aid efforts for Katrina. Why can't we have these things established before bad things happen." Sounds good, but what does that have to do with Glenn Beck.
Finally she ended her rant preaching that the FCC should have regulated the internet better than allowing some guy to dance around naked.
HELLO the FCC does not regulate the internet...
So this was the Tom Joiner Morning Show...
Now on this same station, but with their own DJs, a few months ago the host mentioned the bill Arizona was trying to pass about illegal immigration. After describing the bill, he said: "Seriously Arizona, Barrack won, let it go already. McCain you lost." This guy couldn't come up with a constructive complaint, so he decided to say on the radio that Arizona only cares about illegal immigration because Obama won. HELLO, its not all about obama.
It was this guy:

/Rant ... --- There are simply too many stupid people out there with access to broadcast on the radio...
So, they're playing to their audience. How is that different than what the other side is doing? I turn on the right-wing radio shows here in AZ every once in a while, and there are all kinds of ridiculous rhetoric being spewed by callers, and the hosts usually just go along with it.
Bottom line is that they're not out to help and inform; they're out to make money (it's just business).
