Haven't run the stock wiring in quite some time. Ground right to the battery, constant hot into a fuse block and right to the battery. Tried a constant and ground right to the battery (other than the ones I did have) and still noise.
Ordered a new head unit tonight.
pics?? please??? prefaerably of the half wall
144db@38hz! It hurts so good !
Im gone and this is all I come back to? DAmn you Lanman!
Well, I have a bad alt, so I gotta get that fixed. Ordered a new head unit, and once that's in, I'll have some pics. I'll also clean up the wiring, and maybe a video.
Bastards. Id send it back in a box full of infected AIDS needles instead of packing peanuts.
I've lost some ambition to work on the car. I did however order a noise filter, and I blew the rear sets of 8 inch speakers. I have something planned for the new setup, it'll have 8's in the rear deck again...
One of the 8's were blown. Cone was locked and torn. The other had the neg. disconnected. It plays fine. You guys are going to punch me, but I put in a set of legacy 8s in the back deck temporary. It sounds not bad. I have my midbass back!
Im going to drive to wherever the hell you live and punch you in the dick.
Don't ask. I"m not sure if I'm going to do another set of the VX830s, or if I'm going to do a set of MAX 8's.
I've also got one of the 5 1/4's for my alphasonik components blown. Fail.
poor jeffrey. can't even almost have a good day.
car audio noob since 1984.
I'm contemplating trying to fit 8's in my kickpanels. Wonder if they'd fit?
Will they fit willingly? is the question. You can make them fit.
