Is there any way to find out our total post count?
alot of other forums show how many posts each user has...
do we have that feature? Dave is it in the future?
vBulletin (if that's the forum software that is being used) should have a function that will block certain forums from adding to the total, leaving AG out of the rest of the .org
Or if there's a function that allows the user to view their own post total but not anyone else's...
The forum software the JBO uses is completely custom, all done by Dave himself. It started off with a package, but Dave can't keep his fingers out of it, and since the original install there is almost nothing left that Dave hasn't customized or changed.

if you want a rough estimate, you can search for all posts (don't forget to search archives as well) made from your username. it's not exact, but not far off.
for example: according to your profile you've made 4280 posts, searching for your posts shows 4059.

lmao, yeah, I figured it would be that way.
I just remember (or at least I think I do) quite some time ago that it was a vB package, never really new that it had changed any from the orig scripts.

Let's be honest here. Whatever anyone thinks their post counts are and how they feel they compare to the rest of the .org... you are all beneath me and nobody is even close. And I probably haven't posted more than a couple times a day in the past couple years.
Post counts are stupid in a forum this size. There's no reason for anyone to know how many posts they've made. It's an irrelevant statistic. Quantity has nothing to do with quality.
