Had to replace half the firewall during the swap, I got rid of the factory upper core support in favor of square tubing. I also built some tubular control arms and swapped to an FE7 direct acting sway bar. All the HVAC ducting came out, and any unnecessary wiring and crap. This car has the absolute bare minimum to be street legal.

Did you swap the front end too?
How's that thing feel with the ported heads, cam, and headers on it?

Very nice man. Looks great. How's it run.

Somewhat. Its a Diza bumper with Sunbird GT flip lights. I still have to do something for the center of it.

Not sure yet. It has a chip burnt from several BINs mixed together, but no one else has this setup, and I haven't had it on a dyno yet to really tune it. It runs really nice and sounds great right now, but I will probably be able to get more out of it. based on other similar setups, somewhere around 230whp maybe. I only finished getting it together on Thurs, and its been out of the garage once since then, up the driveway and back

Yeah. That was before I blew up an axle and had to tow it back to MA from IA. Not cool. Then it sat for 3 years and I gave in.

I didn't do that for the fact that everyone else does something similar. I'll be swapping to a 3500 UIM soon, and that has no lettering, but will be getting a custom touch anyways. it does kinda look red, but its actually Chevy orange.
.
Very clean swap.

Nice man can't wait to see numbers. That would be awesome to see 230hp n/a on it. Here's hoping.
Looks sick James, I like!!

Question out of curiosity now that I look at it more closely. How do you do the PS delete? Got a link or anything?

Simple flat plate with a female threaded stud and idler pulley-
I cut the stud down to get the pulley lined up and welded it to the plate. I would have preferred swapping to an electric water pump and losing the AC and PS idlers altogether, and run a simple single belt for the alternator. Future plans....
.
Is there a PN for it or anything? This is something I want to do, though I'm probably going to have to figure something out for an electric pump, since us 3rd gen guys don't have the luxury of swapping to a manual rack.

Wow, very nice job. Great work man.
holy hell i just came in my pants. some of the work you do is outstanding. really makes me wonder what you could do with something better LOL
the control arms are a thing of beauty. how much of diference did those bad boys make? and whats this 'direct acting' sway bar you speak of? please explain...
very cool idea on the strut towers with the camber plates. thats neat.
i agree with the above, too much red on the engine. needs broken up a bit.
