Hey there; can cross drilled and slotted rotors be turned down if they are warped or what not; i know you can turn down regular rotors; its just my drilled ones are i believe warped because my car shakes a bit when i break hard.
Thanks.

No. You won't likely find a garage that would put them on a lathe. They'll catch the bit and make bad things happen.
Yes they can, there is a special bit to do them. Napa probably cant do them though.
Most places use a "record player" style resurfacer. They can not as WW said.
A few places have "grinder" style, that can resurface them. I only know of a few race shops around here that have them.
Slotted/Drilled rotors usually don't warp, or it's very hard to. Are you sure it's not something else?
^ Agreed. I'd check the pads and calipers to make sure they're ok. Typically if you have a warped rotor you'll notice the shimmy during light braking but if you're standing on them it won't be as bad until you get the car slowed down. Then it's more noticable.
Anyone have the name of a place in Canada that can turn slotted rotors? I left my pads too long and got some nasty grooves in my one rotor, and they were the best I'd ever used.

Call some local race shops, most will service the public...
Yeah my car shakes when you are more or less coming to a stop almost; while brakeing; it basically shakes when you are almost stoped, so you think warped rotor, or something else?
