I am sure someone will rag on me but my 13 inch baer front brakes and 12 inch back brakes will be here tomorrow. I can't wait!!
Question.. How much should it cost to get them power coated?
What color do you think would look best with a perl white car?
behind these rims..
Thanks!
You should have got them painted by baer, the seals in them will be affected by the painting process. You will need to disassemble the calipers before painting....

^^ everyone i talked to said it isn't worth it. Says do it yourself and save money and it will look just as good...
well if you are goign to paint them then you can just tape off the area and pant them..if your goign to powdercoat them then you have to disassemble them....the seals will not make it through the baking after its coated...so maybe its a good idea to send those ones back nd reorder..phil
I think it was worth it.

hey wild
did you sand it down or anything? Or just paint it. and i guess you use high temp paint?
thanks
None of the above. When ordering them I said "Hey Baer... powdercoat them all nice and pretty in red" and poof... that's how they showed up.
dam i was going to do that but so many ppl told me not to... said its not worth the money.. dam!
well worth the money considering the logo comes out spiffy like WW's has shown.
You also should get rotors powdercoated along the claipers too!
Im sure you dont want your rotors to show some rust brown on it?
Also another question, what paint colors r u going with on the car? One of those colors may look good on the claipers. As for the rotors, whatever you like - black or silver or chrome.
My bad, pearl white! lol
White claipers may look sweet with some black logos.
Before you paint the future sick car, r u gonna change the hood?
