i installed them the correct way and i clean them up and now it's pop and cluck when i go to turn the wheel. any ideas what it may be??
Get new strut mounts?
Thats all i can think of.
Strut bolts tight and torqued?
Did you lube up the bearings?
Ive got the same problem. Is there anyplace to get the mounts for less than 90 bucks. I checked at pepboys and they were 90 bucks each
I just checked on gmparts direct and they are 60 bucks. Would it be the same price at the dealer

no, gmpd is completely independent from gm and gm dealers. they just sell the parts...
i got a new SET of front mounts from autozone for 87 bucks, i just told them i have a 97 cav and i said i needed new front strut mounts... voila!
i checked out napa (cause the guys there are way cooler) and they wanted close to 200 for the pair..... i don't care how cool they are, that's an f'n ripoff
Does it matter what kind of mounts I get. Pepboys had a monroe and a kyb mount but both they had to do a special order on.
i think it's my tie rods not sure but i'll check today, the noise is mostly coming from the left side i'll jack the car up and see how much play it has when a shack the tires
see how much play when what?
