so ive chosen to go with the new Baer Decela rotors, now i need pads. what are the pros/cons or the differences between:
Ti22
Axxis
Hawk
??? I think they are all within about $10 of each other, so price isnt the issue. Are any of them made of a different compound that is better? Does it matter? etc? Thanks!

I don't know Ti22 but I know both Axxis and Hawk are quality pads.
What you're looking for isn't the difference between brands though but, rather, the differences between the various pads that each brand produces.
There's a bunch of info here on the Axxis line...

I can tell you about the Axxis Ultimates.
They are an excellent pad. I have yet to make them fade and I'm on my second set. They take the abuse of autocrossing quite well and work great on the street too. The only downside to them is the amount of brake dust left on your wheels.
zach- ill probably stay away from those then, id prefer something that has less dust.
wild weasel- thanks for the link, had some useful info, but for the most part, it seemed as if all their pads had the same or similar properties.
ive heard great things about all three of the pads (axxis, hawk, and the ti22)
i was just wondering if one had a better quality then another, whether it be less dust, or longer life, etc etc

An Axxis Deluxe pad is a world of difference from an Axxis Metalmaster pad!
I'm running the Deluxe pads in the back right now and am happy with them. With the big brakes, I can give up a little performance for the sake of low-dusting and still be ahead of the game.
