depends on how you adjust em.

also i would check with tokico and see if there is a lowering limit. like agx has...

be a waste to void warranty instantly on height restrictions.

my friend has a 98 cavi with the megan springs and koni yellows... it rides real nice... pretty firm but nice.. he has had them on for about 6 months now and they did sag a lil bit, but the ride is still real nice.

he has about a 2" drop all around looks good...

he did tell me though that with 4 people in the car it got real bouncy and he was getting sea sick...

i would go for them if i didnt have sportlines & yellows going on.

hope that helps

flaked z, sounds mainly like he got a decent pair of struts to go with em

thats the key to suspension

nah i dont sell, or own a business, i just do the research and give that out for free...

odd story but relative...., the machine shop co owner brought this up monday after i came from the junk yard...

some guy paid me 10$ for me to remove a grand prix mirror from the junkyard on monday....was the first time i really accepted MONEY for a repair/service. food and drink, and i still felt odd so i didnt wanna eat much....

in the past 1 year alone i changed 3 headgaskets (2 of which were fallen angels one was helmetboots X-girl), 17 strut installs, and quite a few smaller things like brakes and fuel filters and brakes for neighbors here and there...... and never once accepted money for any, even declined offers.

but just two days ago, i actually accepted money for something i consider VERY minor..... odd.

Personally I think suspension work is the most fun on a cavalier

I think the "sagging" is basicly another way of putting "settling". Most springs settle to their advertised drop within a week or so after the install.

So far I havent heard a bad thing about Megan Racing. That should be a good sign.

Megan springs are garbage. I would put them on only if I needed to drive my car to the crusher. Kind of like the bottom-feeder springs on ebay.

Sagging and settling are not the same. Sagging happens as a result of using junk metal with no heat treating or block setting. Believe me, I learned the hard way. Your best bet is Eibach, H&R, B&G or other springs that are good.

According to friends, the D-specs are a very good product.

Megan Racing is a reputable company. They are not a garbage product. Megan Racing makes quality springs. Winks has a GP on these for hell of a deal in the other forum. They are equivalent to the GoldLines.

speedking017: Are you an idiot? Goldlines are one of the best spring companies out there, especially for J-bodies. Look at www.aplusperformance.com. GoldLine makes there springs for a lot of different cars. They are quality.
