well, brake dust happens, you can get pads that give off less dust, clean ur wheels with brake cleaner...or run on steelies so no one can tell
Or stop riding the brakes so much.
true....
even less dust pads, give out a good deal of dust especially if you do like weasle said.
brake pads wear down, you either get chunks or dust.
how are you getting it on your rear rims? my rear rims are perfectly clean and i havent clean them since i put them on about 2 months ago. im using ceramic pads in the front. they work alittle better. its nice i have dark bronze rims so it hard to tell anyway
Its a by-product of stopping just don't stop and your rims will stay nice and clean.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
I've got high quality ceramic pads and the dust isn't near as bad. You really can't tell unless I don't wash the car for more than 2 or 3 weeks.
i was just wondering of course my brake system isnt working right at all. every time i brake my back driver side wheels locks up and my car pulls to the driver side + plus i have a loud as pop coming from the back of my car when i slow stop and then release the pedal. its coming from the bake breaks not sure which one though.... anyone help with this prolbem

Clean it out with brake cleaner. if that doesn't fix it, try bleeding that line. If that still doesn't fix it let us know.

hold on a tic.... how is using brake cleaner going to stop my passenger side back wheel from locking up... and hows it going to stop my rearend from banging loudly after i let off the brake pedal??? im confused!!!!
<a href="http://www.liquidgeneration.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.liquidgeneration.com/quiz/images/bat_freeze.jpg" border="0"></a>
Most likely it's sticking so badly because it has an oil-based product in there. The brake cleaner will eat the offending chemical away. The banging is most likely the brake unsticking. I've had it happen to a few of my cars.
or iis it because the back brakes are tightened up to far?

Have you (or someone) adjusted them?
If so, why did you not mention this in the first place.
If not, try the brake cleaner.
ok yes my father adjusted them cause he said thats what it was causing it to pop. well ever sinc then the side (driver) that we adjusted has been locking up.
failed to mention that i guess. so what all should i try or do to get this fixed.
