gm reflash question

when i install my supercharger kit will i be able to drive it to the dealer to get the reflash or is that a bad idea??

Yes, i did it. Zip-tie the by-pass valve open and leave the MAP sensor unplugged.

i just left my stock map sensor in...
don't make boost...take your time

Don't leave the map sensor unplugged, leave the 1-bar map sensor in. The car is definitely not going to run properly without a map sensor lol. Just be patient while driving, you'll be boosting in no time after the reflash, so don't @!#$ up your car on the way to the dealer.

The only thing that happened to me was the car ran pig rich and tripped a "bank one too rich" code. It didnt hurt anything(well maybe the cat, but i dont give a @!#$ about the stock cat) and the dealer was 30 minutes away.

There is no need to zip tie the bypass valve. Just drive it nice and easy. I drove my car for 2 weeks without the reflash using the original 1 bar map sensor.
