Im pleased to announce after much delay the new Atomic Fabrications top mount manifolds and "Hot Side" turbo kits are now available and ready for production. Like all of our manifolds these are 100% 304 stainless steel and tig welded with #308 filler. All manifolds are back purged to ensure quality welds and come with a 1 year warranty.
Manifold Specs $ Pricing
- 3/8 head flange
- 1/2" turbo flange (T25, T3, T4)
- sch10 runners / collector
- external gate option + $50 (2 bolt, Tial V44 or V38)
First up is the full length runner manifold. Designed for top end flow without sacrificing low end spool. NOTE: production manifold will have off set turbo flange like the "Shorty manifold" for additional down pipe clearance. Prices start at $575 and $625 for external gate option.
Next up is the "Shorty" manifold. Its not a log manifold but not a typical tubular manifold either. This manifold was designed to give the budget builder another alternative to a log manifold. Has great short runner spool yet still has decent top end flow. Priced at $440 and $490 with external gate.
"Hot Side" kit specs and pricing
These kits were designed for the DIY builder looking for something a little more than 220whp options out there now. It gives you the base of a turbo kit and eliminates a lot of layout and design hassle. This allows the builder to shop around for the best deals or use existing parts to complete there kit. Included in this kit is Manifold, Turbo, Wast gate / Dump tube,3" Down pipe, all gaskets, Turbo oil / coolant line kits. Like all my products i like to give as many options as possible such as turbo, Tial V44 or V38 waste gates, Down pipe material ect.
Internal WG Kits
Garrett GT28 Journal bearing turbo 330 HP - $1,645-1,805
Garrett GT3076R Ball Bearing turbo 450 HP - $1,975 - 2,135

Awesome, would love to get one of them "shorty" manifolds on my setup someday. Until money becomes more available, my crappy old skool exploited log mani works for me.

Damnit another eco? Wheres the ld9 love
Work looks absolutely amazing though. If you made the "shorty" manifold with an ld9 flange Id buy asap!
Thanks for the complements guys.
Don't worry LD9s are on the way. Possibly a full LD9 Kit if enough interest.

Man I am not even trying to hear where is the LD9 love! More like where is the 2200 love. There is WAY more love for the LD9 & ECO than there is for the 2200.
lol i got plenty of 2200 love!!!!!
what are you looking for besides the intake, im working on that a little bit as we speak.
i got turbo manifolds, flanges, spacers, tie bars, k members, front rad supports, fpr bypass
very nice atomic, and looks pretty decently priced.
absolutely superb work.
Stand in the corner and SCREAM with me!!!!
My curiosity has been peaked.
I'm guessing that you are going to loose your A/C with that set-up.
It looks like you removed the low side A/C pipe for the Turbo to clear properly.
Either way it still looks like a killer piece !!!!! Keep up with the good work !!!
That is a good question. A/C retained? Florida gets mighty warm in a few months time...
very curious in an equal length T4 flange and external V44 WG version.
where would you come off the collector for the external gate? what kind of clearance is there to a front strut bar?
Woah that stuff looks GREAT!

Not to jump the gun, but when do you think the ld9 stuff will be coming out? Because I would absolutely be interested in a manifold similar to these with a pre fabbed downpipe that is positive to work around the auto. And probably even if a dp isnt offered as well.
The ac line will be a close call on the larger compressor housings. The smaller turbos wont be an issue. I will get the manifold and turbo back on the car today and see what it looks like with the T4. I will get back with everyone tonight with a verdict
The down pipes are available individually. Pricing for those are $200 for mild steel and $250 for stainless with your choice of flange.
Waste gates will hang off the back of the manifold between the firewall and block. This places the waste gate in the best position for plumbing the dump tube for teeing back into the exhaust or atmospheric dump. Its also the best position to keep the waste gate from being heat soaked.
2.4 manifolds are looking like they will be finalised by the first or second week of january. I have a 2.4 Manual for test fitting so i will be looking for a Auto trans 2.4 in the Chicagoland area soon if anyone is interested
Some pictures of the jig and back purging set up for everyone.

Also forgot to mention anyone interested in the prototype headers pictured here im willing to let them go at $100 less than list. These were used for mock up so they have a small amount of cosmetic blemishes. Such as the vice marks to shape the primaries to the ports. Also some cutoff wheel marks on the flanges from cutting tacks to change runner layouts. They are the same quality construction and come with the same warranty as the production manifolds do. First come first serve on these.

Whats the back purging setup do, just check for leaks or something?

it fills the inside of the tube with argon (or whatever shielding gas) so that it does not sugar. basically if ur good (not talking about u atomic) and theres complete penetration then it should look like a weld on the inside of the pipe after its welded on the outside. it makes for a stronger cleaner weld then welding it without back purging.
