What's up guys! Well i must finally let you all know, i got my b+m throw throw installed over easter weekend and i must say its a big different. the install took the shop 3 hours to do and i only paid 120 bucks you cant beat that! but heres my problem guys; even though i have the short thow installed now, i still have some play. The shop said my shift linkage is bad. I would like for you guys to let me know where i could get a performance shift linkage from and how much?

He's got the Isuzu tranna and you've got the Getrag. They're 100% different.
You might still be right though. I haven't a clue.
actually Weasel, i dont dave the getrag at all.....i have an auto. but none the less i've still been told that all trannies for j-bodies have shift cables not linkage

Ah. I know nothing about auto tranny shifters.
they are talking about the shift cables for a manual tranny. My isuzu is very much so cables. I'm pretty sure that all cavi's have cables. and if they were bad you'd know it by not being able to shift gears. I'd be stuck in whatever gear it was in when it went. You would defiantely know if they were bad.
Did you ever replace them? Did it help? Mine suck, they are not broken but maybe worn?
