i was wondering how you get the shift knob off? also it has a reverse lockout how do i get it off, and can i just turn mine into a short throw by cutting it off shorter?
pull twist, swear, drink beers pull and twist some more and the knob comes off. its glued and pressed on there, so yank and it will come off.
once the knob is off, just slide the lockout off of hte shaft, nothing holds it in place but the knob.
and you can take a saw to your stock shifter, and it will make it look short, but won't shorten the throws, because its the same lenght after teh pivot point, but it looks good
