Get silver rims. i think silver just looks good. black looks....cheap to me. gunmetal is alright, but get silver. 17 inch. anything bigger just look awkward on a jbody. its seems like everyone has MR7's, be original. Cheaper isn't always better.
I've got 18" MR7's. Does my car look awkward?
Gunmetal will look good on Silver. I'm not a big fan of black either, unless it's got some polished parts on it or something.
I wanted Hyper Black.. in the MR-7

B&M Short Throw Shifter

1. Black will look good on a silver car.
2. Depends on how far you lower the car. The 18's would look good, but may not fit well (rub) due to height. What are you using to lower the car?
3. Motegi MR7 rims look alright. They are just kinda played out.
4. I have Motegi FF6 (gunmetal with polish lip) 17's on my cav. Keepin mind that my car is lowered about 2.5 -2.75 inches. I didn't want 18s for that reason. I believe that my profile has a link to my cardomain site with pics of my rims if you wanna see what they look like.
Note: BUY WHAT YOU WANT!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY SOMETHING BECAUSE ITS THE "TRENDY" THING TO BUY.
I'll have a sig someday....................

define original: well everyone has everything .....from type j kits to lambos..........youre not gonna have anything that no one else have, thats just life. im so tired of that term...ORIGINAL or PLAYED OUT.. BUY WHAT YOU WANT, and modify your car to your liking...i have 18" mr7's and i wouldnt have another wheel. for the record......yes here online it seems that everyone had them but they really arent as common as they use to be. its just an awesome wheel design. and yes i have to co-sign with wild weasel on this one.

was like the style on them. probly go with the 17x7.5. for the lowering kit either the eibach prokit or the sportline. probly sportline since itll get me lower.

You don't like my summer wheels?

It's up to you to decide which you'd rather win.
Damn! It's Ian Lacey day in the W&T forum.
Yours go well with all the other black stuff you've got on the car. For the most part though, I find black ends up just blending in.
What black does really well though, and I'm looking forward to the same effect with gunmetal, is to show off the bling behind the wheels. Since not much light reflects from the wheel, the brakes will really stand out.
White reflects a lot of light so you get a sort of white disc effect obscuring the bling.
