i was just wondering that when you take the headliner out how do you get the dome light socket of the material. it looks like it just slides off but it wont and i tried to pull harder but i was afraid that i would rip my headliner. any help would be super duper
Do you have a sunroof?
If you've got a sunroof, then the dome light cover pops right off. You won't break it. It's somewhat flexible. I can't remember whether the clips are at the front or the back. It's a sort of rounded triangle shape. The point of the triangle either points forward or back. That's where the tab is. The other, wider side has two clips. Pull those clips out and then slide out the tab. Then the light itself is just clipped to the headliner.
If you don't have the sunroof then you'll have the light with the map lights in it. I have no idea how that one comes off. Probably the same, but I don't know.
no not the cover just the light socket. srry im very confusing
it slides right off if you get worried use a flattip screw driver had no problems when i dyed mine.
