Sunfire gauge cluster

Will a stock 2k+ Sunfire gauge w/tach bolt right into a 2k+ Cavalier w/tach. I saw one on eBay, and like the red of the Sunfire gauge..

Yep. Plug and play. Even the odometer is fine since the mileage is stored in the BCM.

Anybody have an extra one for sale?

Does the Sunfire Cluster light up red? I was thinking of changing my Cavalier Cluster to red, but it might be cheaper and better looking if I swap a Sunfire cluster into it instead. Thanks for the idea.

Sorry to double post but will a 2000 Sunfire Cluster swap into a 2004 Cavalier?

I thought I read somewhere that a Cavalier without a tach when switched with a Sunfire cluster with tach would work. When you plug the Sunfire cluster in to the Cavalier wiring harness it actually has the conections to make the tach functional. Is this correct?

Oh I have a 01' Cavalier and want to switch with a 01' Sunfire.

I just read that in an archived post. Hopefully, with any luck, I'll have my Sunfire cluster by the weekend. Got all the dash screws out, and am ready to go. I like the positioning of the gauges better in the Sunfire as well.

I only saw one auction on ebay for a Sunfire. The seller had 16 negatives in the last year though. I hate taking the chance of buying from people with questionable feedback ratings.

Any cluster from a 2000+ Cavalier will fit into a 2000+ Sunfire and vice versa.

With a sunfire cluster you get a bigger tach, so that's a plus for all you 1/4 mile types. Also it lights up red, but it does have a slight pink tint to it. The needles are orange day or night though.

Does $39.95 shipped sound like a good price for a 2k+ Sunfire cluster? Also, if you search ebay under http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=sunfire+cluster&category0= some guy has like 20 of them brand new in the box. He's around $59.95 I think. Happy hunting. I can't wait to get it. I'll post pics.
