Since the original post has come and gone, heres a smaller update post.
We pretty much have finished the rear tubs, all thats left is smoothing everything out even though it'll never be seen. We took trailer fenders and cut them in half and welded them in place, then plated the rest to seal it off entirely.
After that was complete we moved on to making the bag brackets. Since the bags I'm running have a shorter distance between threads than the bags I'll probably be running in the future, we left holes for both style bags so that it will be an easy swap when I decide to change.
Heres Matt the master fabricator grinding some welds down lol
Not really anything to do with the project persay, but my intercooler came in yay
Cool cool now GIMME MORE PICS!!!!!!!
Very nice. Can't wait to see it finished.
hey come on guys, if I run 10 psi I might be able to run 15.5 in the 1.4 hahaha
The car was actually pretty quick non intercooled on the 19s, but now theres a lot more bracing and weight back there so you're right, I'll need it. I'll be chugging up big hills
We need you to be JOTM for next month!
thats a bit premature, can I be known as the slowest turbo'd j body instead?

looks nice, gonna need the boost just to move the big rims you can fit in there now.
Gotta respect the attention to detail on things that no one will ever see. Thats what seperates great show cars alot of times than 75% of the crap thats out there.
Can't wait to see it done.

What are your plans for getting the front end down lower?
I am all that is man
Having a fat chick sit on the hood? Not a very good suggestion and it wouldn't score points at shows, so forget that idea all together
.
Looks sweet! I showed some local guys the site and they were impressed on the work that your doing. They said the usual, well its on a sunfire, but again were really impressed on how high the quality is of your tubbin'/
heres another not so big update for the not so big update post
As for the front, I'm playing on tubbing that as well, losing the ac, relocating the battery and coolant res. and running the easystreet custom strut bag/macpherson setup.
