Some will probably remember my car. I am the one who did the GP through Aerotrends to get the Blitz Kit produced for the Cavaliers. Well its been a long time since then and the car is still not finished.
I was sponsored by Aerotrends, A+ Performance, and Street Styles back in the day but had quit working at Street Styles because working 20hrs a day wasn't doing too good for my health so I took the car with me instead of letting them finish. After the car was out of the shop I spun a rod and it took me a year to get another engine in and the car has sat in my parents driveway every since.
Now I'm getting all the tools to finish the car at my house and I'll be starting on it in the next week or so. Car is going to be painted the gunmetal color that comes on the new Scion TCs. Also going to do a 2000+ headlight swap so if anyone has them for sale let me know!
Pretty cool. Looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you. good luck
Not really alot of work.....I finished pretty much all the body work before I left the shop. The only thing I gotta do is finish shaving the stock tail lights. When I left I wasn't finished so I just primered over what was done. Trim the custom LED tail lights flush with the body and then sand the whole car down and primer it one color.
I'm trying to decided whether or not to get the EasyStreet air ride because the car is low to the ground and it would be nice to be able to adjust the suspension for getting over speed bumps and other things.
I see the taillights, yet I don't!
Work in progress, understandable.

Like I said....I pulled it out with them being half done....they will be reworked here soon. Also I'll get some night pictures of my custom LED tails. They aren't seen unless they are on and consist of if I remember 40 LEDs in each light and are bright as hell.
get the tails finished and it will look hot!
take that front bumper and smash it.... ugly!! blitz is not ment for cavs... look at the wheel well.. not even round wheel well! same thing with the rear!.. drift rear is disgusting for our cars...
other wise, nice job!

Dude take a look at your wheel well....its not round either. You think the blitz front is ugly, I think the 03+ front ends are ugly. Everyone has their own opinions.
Is that blue/teal color on the top a stock paint color? Looks sweet in the pics. Make sure to hit the tails again before you paint, the lines around where they were are still really ovbvious. Good work though, keep it up! BTW: Got a close up of the tail lights? I would like to see what you used.

Yea the blue/teal color is stock. Its actually a really nice color. The tails are not finished. I'll be getting some better shots of the tail lights next time I'm at my parents house.
Here is a picture of my car before I started any of the body work.
kits not my style but very nice work so far cant wait to see it finished

well im gonna make a mature civilized statement. and say that your car is definately going in the right direction. although its not my taste for the fact that what youve done....is just alittle too extreme for my liking., but youre building your car for you and not anyone else. i can respect you ,your car and your hard work for that, grat job none the less, and i hope you get around to getting it finished. would love to see the finished product.

whats with the front bumper/ the little wing kind things, the triangles at the edges... are those surpossed to look like arrows pointing forward? I thought the bottom edge was surpossed to be paralell to the ground?? Hard to explain maybe I'm seeing stuff. I don't perticularly like it but I do have 1 small piece of advise... lose the door handles, a car with that much custom body work shouldn't have black plastic unpainted door handles. Other then that not bad.
I am going to do something with the handles but I don't know what yet. Most tracks require you to have door handles to race and I plan on going turbo and would want to run it. So I might get some flush handles off another car and mold them in.
About time you do something with that car. I put that work into getting it running, and then you parked it.

hey nick forgot to mention, i also have the easystreet air ride, i ride between 75-80 in the rear and 40 up front, since we have identical body kits if you get the air ride you'll probably ride around these heights if your roads are about the same as here...just wanted to give you that lil bit o info

glad to hear your going to finish it. i like it and would have took it off your hands this summer if i didn't end up buying a 2000 cav. good luck with it, and if i was you, i'd put your old wheels back on it
