With New Dig-Cam come New Pics!
Monday, August 21, 2006 8:14 PM
Ok, was getting tried of having to borrow a camera everytime i was gonna post pics so i just sent out and bought a new one :-) It's a Nikon Coolpix 7600 7.1megapixel camera. Still getting used to it, but seems pretty good!

Now, bout the car.....most the carbon work is almost finished. As you can see, I've ended up sanding just about all the primer I payed to have shot, bummer, but it had to be done. I took a day off of work today and did a little work on the front bumper, center console, perfecting the roof and the trunk to finish, trimming and grinding the carbon around the door to be ready for more resin. Also spent a bit of time blending the line between carbon fiber and the widebody down to just about perfect.

on to the pics!

Oh how I would love to be able to devote all time to this 'Heap' but then I'd have no cash flow to finish :-) just got off work and contemplating going out and doing some more work.

Thanks for the support guys!

sry mang but the drift rear is horribly ugly.. i just hate how the side pieces are like 3 feet lower than the bumper

i agree that the drift front isnt the greatest, its what i already had when i started the project and just never got rid of it. I've thought about changing kits (well at least front and rear) but they both already have to much work invested into them that it would be crazy to get rid of them....Oh Well, hopefully it will still look good when it's all said and done!

here's some more pics, i shot some clear over parts really quick just to give me an idea of how the carbon fiber will look all finished... lemme know what you think!

this is a pic of the door i promised

look how much work goes into all of it, this is after laying the fiber and one layer of resin, trimming, and grinding....still have metal etch primer, body filler that spot, lay lots more resin and then sand sand sand

i say not to do that little thing on the door... straight across, cleaner... i dunno... im insanely in love with the progress of ur car, but imo, without that little thing on the door would look better

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn
