I've seen it installed on a car on "pimp my ride" and I also thought it was nice BUT what's to keep someone else from opening the door also??

almost reminds me of how the new bmw's are! where all u need is the transmitter, and u put ur hand by the handle, and it u have the transmitter, the door will unlock!

but if u don't have it, no dice! obviously!

pretty cool, but if u break that transmitter, your F*CKED!

its a great idea... but since you already have to keep a remote with you for activating the locks ( so nobody can push that button) you might as well just make the remote pop the doors open. seems futile to me.

The new corvettes have something like this too i think. Maybe its the you cant drive the car without the fob.. im not sure anymore.

I like it nonetheless, haha just remember to lock the doors

My guess is its that..

The new Vette and cars like that use a Keyfob(im not even 100% if the Vettes have it yet. Iv heard that but have seen it. When you get close it unlocks so you can open the car and it will start with the push button. There are no keys to use. However, it doesnt pop the door open

I do believe that its magic touch you can either have it there by the wondow where he touched or on the drivers side mirror, or on the front/back window in the corner. First time i saw that was at nopi in dallas and i was impressed. It disarms when the car is locked and arms when the car alarm is de-activated.

Very nice how much that run you ?

Ok here my secret

It's better then magic touch because It only cost 30 $ not 400$

a membrane switch

in the B pillar

The "brain" To deactivate the switch when the alarm is on

And a better shot of the "system"

I get it... he arms the alarm, and it disables the switch. Once he disarms the alarm, it enables the switch. Good call, that means no handle at all when armed. But you still need the remote to turn on the switch

Some of you people need to learn to just sit back, relax, and say, "Damn, that's pretty cool."
