My bud, and fellow Cavalier owner, said not to go with springs, that they bounce too much, but I've seen a ton on here with springs, so yeah... what to do?... C&C are always welcome!

looking very nice and clean man. if you go with a decent brand spring with a subtle drop, then you should be fine. a cheap spring or coils will usually give you a harsher ride.
Looks great man, I'm on Eibach Sportlines / Koni Yellows and love how it rides and is also a nice drop
Looks great, I love the boat loading ramp pics
Thanks guys! lol I'd love to bag it too, I think that would be so badass, but if I'm going that route, it's going to be a while from now! Realistically though, I think I might look into the sportlines and yellows, I'm thinking that should be a good route. it'll get done soon guys!!
I want it lowered so badly!!!!!

you wont regret it i can gaurentee you. its an expensive setup but well worth every penny. read up on the yellow install before you buy them though and make sure that you are willing to do all the work involved.
Very clean ride, nice pictures.

are they a bitch to install? lol my dad and I have done everyhing on my car so far, so we'll probably tackle this job too, unless we decide to have it professionally installed, which might actually be a better and safer idea. thanks, I'm definitely going to look into this!!!

a bitch over just buying a strut that you just bolt right in, yes... ill give you a basic run through but your going to need to find cinpro's hella tits koni yellow install guide to get all the info. (and trust me, the koni instructions are barely even good enough to wipe ur ass with). cinpro's guide owns.
you have to cut the front stock strut in half and remove the guts. the yellow actually installs INSIDE the stock housing.
you have to pound off the stock rear spring perch and it goes on the rear yellow.
basically it ruins your stock struts, so unless you dont care it'd be a good idea to go to a junk yard and buy a set of blown stockers for cheap. just make sure you clean up/paint everything before you put it all on the car, trust me... you will want to show off your new suspension and if you dont take the time and attention to detail on em your going to be kicking yourself late for it.
wow, a lot more work than I originally thought, but I'll try to find that guide and study up on the subject. lol and thanks a ton for the tips, I really appreciate it!!!

you could also go with tokico d-specs. they are basically the same thing as the yellows but are completely hassle free and bolt right in. personally, i love my yellows, they are amazing. ive never ridden in a car with d-specs though so i have no comparison on them. i have however ridden in a car with bags (99 grand prix) and did NOT like it, bouncy as fawk.
Koni Yellows FTW!! But if you go this route, make sure you get all new mounts, unlike what I did and now need new ones lol
