I hate to hate, but that spoiler is goofy. lol get a 95-99 spoiler, it'll look 100x better IMO. and its nice seeing the car all one color!

it's people like you that me make embarrassed to drive a jbody. hell we get enough sh!t from the import guys, no need to have come from the inside. granted, there some realy tasteless jbodies out there( some on here too). but josh is going in the right direction, i know some of his plans.

I like the trunk...looks good but needs lots of improvement. But hey it deff. has potential. Just get some rims for starters cause those stellies aint helping. Is that an alero spoiler? And since you swap bumpers Im assuming its not a Z24?

But yeah, that was more of a inside joke than a actual name(its just gonna be "Cavalier")
As for the spoiler, its gonna go ASAP, I just need another spoiler.. and most likely a trunk lid.
As I don't like the look of a Cavalier without something on the trunk.
Rims.. they are on my agenda, but my income is limited and rims/tires just are too much for me right now.
And for the door/window visors, I actually already removed those before I even read your post(but thanks for the concern...)
Its not a Z24, I'm looking to do a LD9 swap.. but that is much further down the road.
Paint.. I'm really not sure, alot of people on here don't like the primer black, but I love the look of the primer.
This car for me is more of a experiment then anything else,
everything is done by me, and 9/10 times its the first time I've done anything of the given nature.
It's not perfect, but its my car, and for what I've done, learned and how far I've come, I'm damn proud of it.
So I'm sorry I'm not as skilled as some of you, and my J isn't what you'd like it to be.
I'm not changing my tastes because you don't like it, if it makes you embarrassed to drive a Jbody, I'm sorry, but I'm not leaving the J scene because you don't approve of my car.
This is my first real project car, and its just that. A PROJECT CAR.
I'm not trying to make a dream machine, everyone has to learn these skills somewhere, and this is me learning.

Some quick updates;
Removed the spoiler
Removed the door/window visors
Cleaned up the doors where the side moldings were
Smoothed out the trunk lid
Filled in some divits on the front bumper
sanded the whole car smooth
I'll post some more pictures on here later today or tomorrow.

Kudos to doing your own work, we all have to start somewhere.
In regards to keeping it in primer, not my taste, however I think it would look better if you at least went with a flat black primer.
i don't understand why people pay or to waste the time painting there entire car in PRIMMER then later to decide to paint it a normal colour, the money and time spent on that primmer is now wasted its not like you can be like sweet cars primmered when i get some cash in 6 months i will paint it then 6 months later i will clear coat it DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY
primmer looks gay makes it look like crap and if you don't go down to bare metal or add filler then you should have no reason to primmer
personally i wouldn't be caught dead in a car like that but if thats what you like to drive then all the power to you,
