Looks good but I'd suggest stepping back further and do the 30% rule. Having the car being 30% of the picture everything else background. Then just move closer till you find that spot that everything seems to work, because sometimes 30% is just to far away. Also possibly wait for a day with overcast instead of sunny to help with lighting.. Or wait till later in the day and adjust your shutter accordingly. Either way though they look good. That's about what my HDR pics look like as well.. Don't quite get how chazz and most people are getting what they get, but i use PS CS4 for merging and haven't tried editing after. Thinking it may be not shooting in RAW but unsure.

Yeah man Photomatrix is the way to go. I use that for all my HDR images. You have to use more than 5 exposures to get a really nice effect. Good stuff though. Heres an image i took and processed in PS and Photmatrix.
