hey thanks everyone. id like to repaint the whole car but the front bumper for sure. yea the clear didnt get put on even and not enough on the sides and top and didnt flow in the way i would like. it will be fixed over the winter.
OMGWTFBBQ!! LOVE that front! Love the car as a whole too!

i COULD be wrong, but it looks like a LSS front on a 00-02
actually, it would appear that the top half of an 00-02 front was grafted onto the 03+ ls sport... the ribbed area between the headlights is def. 00-02. (i'd guess similar to gary frank's sunfire/03+ cavalier rear grafting)
car looks great!
pics of how it was done?

i dont think i have anypics. might beable to get a few off my phone if i knew how. lol but anyways i cut both bumpers about 2 inches below the seam in the bumper. the shape of the 2 bumpers is almost 99% the same. the 03 bottom is like half inch longer on both ends. i plastic stitch welded the 2 halves together on both front and back. used left over peices from the hacked bumpers to rebuild some areas. used a hand held torch to melt the urathane and pressed in some metal screen into the urathane for some strength. i used a sottering gun to stitch weld. then filled the seams as best i could with melted urathane. make sure to wear a high quailty mask. i went home several nights with a massive headache. then used a 2 part urathane epoxy to shape the areas were bonded. also ran some bonding expoxy between the 2 halves and on the backside. shaped the expoxy with a grinder at first them just higher and higher grades of sandpaper and finish with 320. then prime and paint using a @!#$ load of flex agent in the paint so if anything happen the paint wont chip off. the worst part was i had to rebuild half of the center section of the low lip as it was destroyed. it gave me the most problems as some of the expoxy would shrink up and crack after a few days. all in all probally took me at least 200 hours to make as ive never done anything like this before in the past.
WTF?!?! Is this BuMmRz painted blue?!?!?!?!
