I got a very base 2004 model. I am wondering what i need to do to add cruise. Besides replacing the turn signal lever.

Look into getting an aftermarket cruise control module. I'm pretty sure they're out there.

I don't think you can just get the factory parts from a junkyard since your ECU/BCM doesn't have the smarts to manage it. I'm not positive on that though.

Yes, you can add factory cruise. I did it on mine and outlined the process on my website.

Audiovox makes a kit, I'm still trying to talk myself in to buying the kit... I can buy the kit, I just don't know if I want to take the time to install the kit!! HAHA Audiovox CCS100
here's a reference install, not on a j-body though and it will give you an idea of how it's installed *reference install*

Thanks, It really annoyed me when the guys at the dealer said it couldn't be done. I just had to prove them wrong. haha

I have a question while we are on Cruise Control...

If I were to used the AudioVox aftermarket Cruise Control kit...could I used a factory turn signal/cruise switch to control it? I really don't want buttons on my dash would rather have it controlled through a factory like switch if possible.
