Will this cavy intake fit my 2200?

intake is for a 96-99 2.2 cavi

i have a 99 2200 fire

but i heard you can put them on the sunfires...

no they have a throtle body that sits up above the motor where as the 2200 throtle body sits behind the motor and downward alittle so it will not fit unless you get a curved part to connect to the throtle body

im not sure but it looks like it may fit you will have to get one of those rubber things (looks like a big rubber band or something) to connect the intake to the throtle body its like the rubber part thats in your pic...but to save some money you could just sell that one and buy an injen intake made for the 2200 here is a pic of mine

see how it already has the curve in it. injen.com bro

save money buy getting rid of that intake and have to buy a new one?

like said before all he needs is the elbow. and yes it will need to be the 3 inch 90 degree bend.

i have the weapon r dragon intake on my 2200.

Can you post a picture of it at a different angle cuz it looks like it might fit. I coud be lookin at it differently, too.

That's the intake for the 95-97 OHV. It won't directly bolt up to the 98+ 2200, Unless you get the elbow.

here's a pic of mine for the 2200. all you would need is an elbow. otherwise they are exactly the same.
