Is it possable to swap an ecotech with a 2.4. If so which one is better and has more power.

its been done a few times. its not really all that hard (well it is but not to bad). the worst part is wiring it all up. its a wiring nightmare. the eco has 140hp and the 2.4 has 150hp. the eco is a better motor to build though
ah i got it backwards, i thought you wanted to go from a 2.4 to an eco. yea just stay w/ the eco. it has alot more potential
No sorry my bad I have a 2.4 and wanted to swap with eco my fault. But would you say the eco is more robust then the 2.4 even though there is less hp, or that it is just easier to mod .
Yes, I would agree with that.
Given the choice, I'd rather have the Ecotec to build up.
But the 2.4L looks nicer under the hood.
