I deserve the award for the biggest newb award but I can't get the shift knob off to replace it. I thought it was supposed to just screw off but it does not. It is still the stock knob. I have a '96 z24 if that helps at all. How do I get this off.
There's a clip at the base holding it on. Use a small screwdriver to pry out the staple-like clip and it'll slide right off.
yup the clip faces the radio, around the middle of the knob
