I was just browsing the internet for cavalier related stuff when i happened to come across this website talking about a Cavalier that comes turbo stock. They had a pic of it, it was pretty damn sweet, had 18's, a kit, ram air hood. I was looking for it again today and could not find it for the life of me. Now,i dont know if they are really going ot make this or not. I was curious to see if anyone else has seen this, or has any info on it.

I can only assume what you saw was the turbosport. There were 2 versions of the car, both of which were SEMA prototype cars.
The original, built for the 2001 SEMA Show:

And the newer version built for the 2002 SEMA Show:

Both were Ecotec powered, putting out an estimated 220hp.

I hate to break it to you, but the J-body is dead. The Cavalier and Sunfire ceased production well over a year ago. So the answer is no, it will not be made, because the entire platform is dead.

the former." - Albert Einstein
Yeah they're not gonna make it dude. Cavys are done..........Cobalt has taken over.

Its all good, i will make my very own Cavalier Turbo Sport, well, minus the 18's,
There's some positive thinking. Make it happen man!!

haha for real. I made a huge investment in this car. I won't give it up! I wish Chevy wouldn't have canned Cavy's though, it would have been interesting to see their evolution
what spoiler is that? It looks familiar, but I can't put my finger on it.
New sig in the works
tubro sport spolier, never made
lenko made a replica one on his silver cav he had
all i know is that is one sweet car!!!!
Anyone else feel the Cobalt is a Chevy Focus?
Or is that my insanity spilling into my reality?
And what's with Chevrolet killing these cars, the Camaro, now the Cavs, SFires what's next sporty Cadillacs...
OH SHYTE!!!
Sporty Cadillacs already exist...
NJHK is going to paint his car a solid color...

Start building your bomb shelters everyone!
you cant be serious? cavs and fires are cheap ecno cars, do you really expected them to be around forever like impalas and cadillacs?
They will make a comeback, the Camaro is. I heard the new one is supposed to be coming out next year or the year after.
Yes bagged I am serious...
IMHO I think the only reason they did away with the econo-cars is so they will start selling more higher end vehicles.
Drive down the road and tell me how many cavs or fires you see.
If people don't have a cheap car to buy, but won't buy anything but GM, what else will they buy?
Why doesn't GM make factory body kits?
They do this for different vehicles like the trailblazer, and other SUVs, if they did it with the cav or other cars, they could tend to sell more products.
If Chevrolet came out with a SS Cavalier (2.4 SC ECO) in 07 who all would buy one?
I would be the first in line to order one, now if you could choose from 6 different body kits, and all the options of, lets say, a top of the line SUV, it would take out half the work to get my car the way I like it.
Mods straight from the factory... think about it... it's a great idea!
Isn't Scion doing this right now?
cavaliers are dead, they arent coming back. camaro is coming back because its a very popular sports car thats been around forever. the cav is a cheap ecno-box, theres no need to bring it back
WHAT?!?! NO MORE CAVALIER?? WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN??
J/K
I was at the Chevy dealership the other day to look at all the new Cobalts they just got in, and when i pulled up and the sales rep came over to talk to me, he said that was the first Z24 he had seen in a long time (at the dealership) then he started telling me about all the features of the Cobalt SS s/c. He told me to come back in a few days if i want to test drive one. Im probally going back tommorow to test drive it, but just to see what all the hype is about, aint buying one.No way am i selling my cavy.
yea its not comin back
but if anyone has noticed GMs plan to get more money form people by gettin rid of the econo cars has backfired, people bought cavs and fires b.c they were economic not just b.c they were bottom of the line, now with higher gas prices most people want a car with better gas mileage, sure there are still those yuppy peoplee who will spend $100+ on gas a week for their hummer, but i think GM should have made a Cav/Fire Hybrid, like the Prius or *shudder* civic hybrid, thats where the money will be in a few years
