i have a 98 Z24 with cold air intake and Magnaflow exhaust(muffler) .... i was just wondering what i should expect in the 1/4 mile? i had a chance to run this past weekend in clay city, KY, but didn't have the money.
Pretty close to what Myles said except I would lose as much weight as possible such as any heavy audio equip.,spare tire,Put it this way I have the same car as you except a vert. and I ran a 16.7 with a .667 reaction time which I know is not good but my n20 solenoid was clogged w/ a piece of Teflon tape and I was just spraying fuel and the only other mod I had at the time was a WAI so work on your r/t and your launch off the line. Also have a good tire setup and lower the psi in the front tires

Yup. Then post back and let us know how you did. Good luck!
my first run was a 16.2 but the best of the night was 15.5 at 88mph this was 4 years ago
last year i ran a 15.7 with an intake and a cat back system with a very good r/t so like they said up top work on the reaction time makes a huge difference..

not really. you can sit there for 10-15 seconds and still get a 15.7 when on the previous run you had a .020 RT
RT only plays into affect in bracket racing
