Car looks good, MOAR PICS THO!
looks way better than the other scoop
interesting, i dig it. Question though, how are the scoops held on the stock hood and how that vent was held onto that c/f hood?

The STi hood scoop is removable from the factory, it's not molded into the hood so to speak. The Seibon hood utilizes all of the OEM mounting holes so it's as easy as swapping one for another.
Not bad, but the parts of that hood I hate are molded in

I love this car, it gives me motivation to get done with college and get the @!#$ out of iowa.
Thank you.
Way better! I feel blacking out the mesh would finish it,
maybe body color even.
Also when you do the headlights, you doing the rings blue? I like that idea. Think they call them rally rings or some nonsense! I try to stay hip!
Black/body mesh, black headlights with blue rings, and the Rays back on with those 255's would be pure sex.
I'd love to see a blue candy over the carbon fiber.

The long term goal for the hood is to paint it blue once the sun starts to discolor it, then paint the mesh black.
Thanks for the incite and kind words. I took the critisism before kindly and was looking at my car and had come to agree with you all that the standard scoop on this carbon hood definitely didn't look as good as the OEM scoop, I do however still really like the vents, and feel when the hood is blue that it will all go together alot better.
Thanks again JBO.
paint the vents blue and it would like SICK
Thanx Charles
agreed with blue vents...i painted all mine white on my evo hood, and it made teh car look a ton better....NICE work with the stock scoop too...
i don't liek it at all, it looked so much nicer with the stock hood, personally I would have gone with OEM CF
OEM CF would look better but I still like it
looks better.
vents blue too would look cool.
good luck
couldn't resist, hope you dont mind:
I am sorry but that looks ugly IMO. looks to FATF. If anything paint the vents black. I personaly like the stock hood much better.
UPDATE :
Car is going to the bodyshop tmrw.
Hood is getting painted blue, the vents are being painted black.
Im also getting my Rays wheels sent off to get powdercoated so the wheels will be black when they go back on this week
Then all I have to do is open the headlights and paint the housings black.
I'll post new pics soon......
Yay on the hood being blue/black, BOOOOO on painting the wheels. I liked them gold.
