So I sanded down my hella 500 covers, and I had them professionally painted along
with my grille, and rear license plate trim. I chose a gray metallic to match the parts
I had powdercoated in hammertone previously (my rims and my bumpers).I think it
looks way better than it did with either the black or the chrome grille. I still need to fix
the drivers side bumper cap; it's on the list.

It's my daily driver, so I try to keep it clean. I never liked the term street-jeep for some strange reason.
Also, it's hard to call it a street jeep because it's hard to call what we have in my town as streets. Just ask slvrblit.

I like the gas tank skid plate, did you make that?
The jeep looks good but could use a body lift
I like the headlights, they are different...
Overall I like it!!
And the new look > old
This is my favorite look thus far!!!
You just gotta do something with those tail lights tho.

The headlights are bi-xenons; I've been running them since 2005. The rear skid plate came from a German tuner called antec. It had a stainless steel finish, but I had it glass-blasted/ powdercoated hammertone to match the rest of my stuff. I have new bilsteins and new tires so I have no plan to lift it anytime soon. I am considering an OME 2" lift when it's time for new tires. However, doing a lift properly isn't cheap (regearing costs and arm and a leg).

Those tailights are super rare, and most Cherokee guys keep asking me for them (they're just like our OEM tails only the middle portion isn't amber). Having said that, I am working on something

Sweet can't wait to see what you end up doing.
I got a few locals here with those tails and one guy with very similar headlights.

The Cherokee has always been my favorite Jeep and yours is the best one I've ever seen hands down.
