Lookie What I Found This Weekend

As most know I've been looking at a 68 Camaro near my grandmothers place well got some more info on the car's owner from a neighbor and possibly a phone I looked up from the address. But we are thinking the guy may be eccentric so we will see

so in the meantime I came across another possiblity. A 78 Trans am. it does need quite a bit of work. No one was around to ask about it but I did get a number from a jeep that was forsale nearby. I called him later in the day and well that carhad been sold but was awaiting pickup. He did say he had a 79 Trans Am forsale that sounded to be in better shape for less money and had already been partially restored and best part its red lol. no pics of the 79 since I havent seen it but here is the 78

There is a place near my grand mothers called Crazy Freddies classic cars and spotted these

When passing through middlesboro KY I spotted all these gems

Then on a car trailer spotted this poor Ferrari

That's a definite mish mash... esp with the dash being black and then the red hobnail seats. That thing looks like it has a LONG way to go for a resto!!!

Awesome pics!

I'd love to have that 78 gold edition trans am. I'd take that 70 chevelle with 71 headlights for $1800 over a 79 T/a though.....

Gotta look under the 2nd gen f bodies real good the underneath rust out really bad- subframe and rear frame rails mostly

Clear title... lol...

The Chevelle was gorgeous.... I need to see about talkingto the owner of a few garages around where i live. He has EVERYTHING in these things. HUGE garages, they look more like old factorys.

only 70's had that chrome trim on top of the fenders and doors, it has a 70 grille, 70 front bumper(turn signals in it), and 70 only front fenders(marker lights at the bottom), 70 rear bumper, and it says 1970 on the window. 71-72 only had the marker lights/turn signals in the headlight doors, no lights on the fenders or bumper. Look at space between the grille and the headlight doors. I have a 69 and 72 chevelle so I know most interchanges with them.

$1800 for a some what solid roller with a good frame isn't too bad of a price. I'm sure you could get it for $1500 or less
