I've always loved that front end
Thats a nice looking ride. Moonshine and all
I want that garage, and the car with it.

im not a big shaker hood guy
One of my favorites, god not too many of those out there. Beautiful car.
One of my next projects is going to be a build along those lines. With a high revving, rat eating, small block.
Those wheels totally give me a boner.

thats not a small block in there
I know that, it's a Pontiac there really is no big or small block. I'm totally not a big block guy though, hence why I said I'm going to build a small block that will eat rats.

actually i like the 70-73 formula hood , i think its the best looking 2nd gen hood , with the shaker hood 2nd , and the flat hood 3rd
the later formula hood is just nasty
the CHiPs reference was a funny , lol

I'd like to see some real specs if you want to pm me some. 10k seems like a hell of a lot of rpms for the long stroke of the 400. I would assume a destroke to twist 10k rpm reliably, but that doesn't match the claimed 434 c.i. at all.
I'm not trying to talk down at all, I'd just like to know. I've never built a performance minded v8 before, just a couple mild rebuilds thus far. I'm planning a little 400 horse 350 this winter to put in a 3rd gen F, but it's going to be very mild and not ever revving past 55-5600 rpm probably. If I can get what I want, shouldn't be hard, I want to build something pretty wild to put in a Chevy II for G-Machine purposes.
