The Kizashi's styling reflects its sportiness, with an aggressive face highlighted by a big grille and large canted headlights. The rear is equally attractive with large rectangular taillights and dual exhaust tips that are incorporated into the bottom of the rear bumper. The Kizashi is 183.1 in. long, 71.7 in. wide and 58.3 in. tall. Wheelbase is 106.3 in.
The Kizashi will be available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, with a 2.4-liter inline-4 supplying power. Although output has yet to be announced, I'm sure it will be in the 180- to 200-bhp range. The engine, codenamed J24B, is manufactured at Suzuki's plant in Sagara, Japan. It comes mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT transmission.
According to sources at Suzuki, the Kizashi is firmer than its Honda and Toyota counterparts, emphasizing sport over comfort. That the Kizashi's chassis was fine-tuned at the Nürburgring should serve as an indication of how it will perform on mountain roads. No prices have yet to be announced, but I'm expecting it to be around $20,000. I'll keep you posted.

Am I crazy or does that look like a Chevrolet Cruze? Is it based on the same platform?
The concept version had me thinking it was going to be based on the Malibu.
I think it's one of the hottest new sedans on the road IMHO. No it's not a GM shared platform, all 100% Suzuki. Finally Suzuki returns to it's motorsport heritage, I can't wait.

Best looking Suzuki I've seen ever
platform-wise, it looks pretty impressive... And it is definitely nice to see Suzuki getting away from the SUVs and more toward the sporty side again... But I'm not a fan of the 4-door, and the body in general is too generic... too malibu/jetta/civic/every other sedan out there. I'd honestly consider one in a 2 door hatch, but not in its current form.

AWD with a 6spd then add a turbo to the 2.4l engine and you could have a sleeper that runs like it stole something.
