some ricer punk got it....itll be 50 colors by next month im sure

Hahaha. Skittles do not have that many colors. Lol. I still have a feeling that you will be wanting it back after I get all the loose ends tied up.
Cobalt SC/SS springs are MUCH lower than Cobalt SS/TC springs. Both are lower than stock.
I'm currently riding around on a full Cobalt SS/TC setup with HHR strut mounts up front. Even my sway bar end links are from the SS/TC.
I used to have SC/SS springs, but the back end sat way to low if I towed anything, like my 4-wheeler. But the ride height was perfect in my opinion.

interesting to know. i dont suppose you can post or link me to a thread w pics w each style on yours can you?
Look at the little rack in the first pick, and the second pic the rack of the car is much greater.

SS/SC spring...look at the rear.

Rear is about 3/4" higher on SS/TC spring than SS/SC springs.
I'll look for some better pics, but the black hides the gap well.
The SS/SC springs I drug mudflaps into and out of my driveway.
The SS/TC I only hit the front sometimes.
Stock, is about 1 inch higher in the front than SS/TC and 1.5 inch higher than SS/SC, and the stock rear is about 2.75" higher than SS/SC, and about 1.5" higher than the SS/TC if that all made sense.
Added....This is on SS/SC springs....before hitch and baby moons.
If I didn't tow with the HHR. I would have keep the SS/SC springs.
Towing you need the stiffer and taller SS/TC springs.

great info, thanks. i dont know that i will tow anything, but i plan on putting on a hitch anyway, as well as getting some roof rails w bike rack for the top (know anyone with rails or springs fs?) so it sounds like the SSTC are the way to go. direct bolt up, i guess? or need to use upper mounts from hhr? ive been doing a ton of reading on chevyhhr.net and so far have come across some great info on things such as the ignition sticking in acc and the shifter button sticking open but not gotten that far into research yet.
Very nice man! Wish mine was that color for sure. Cobalt suspension should swap directly, I'd source some used SS/TC springs and when you're ready for struts do the OEM FE5? setup from the TC's as well.
Yeah I'm on the OEM FE5 struts and shocks. The cheapest was crate engine depot, and that is where I bought mine from. I bought new strut mounts from rock auto.
I also had my alignment done to SS HHR specs.

joe: id rather have the red than this color for sure. lets just swap!
ok so i guess the FE5/SSTC combo is what i'll hold off for....unless i find a good deal on something similar.
Ben I seen a accord the other day that had the headlights smoked. Not blacked out and I think that would fit yours very well I seen at O'Reillys(I think) smoke tint. I thinking of picking up some to try.
