thats a common problem with the type j rear bumper. the simple solution is to make some L-brackets and attach those below the top edge of the bumper to smooth things out.

there are numerous posts on this topic. please search next time.

as for loading photos, please visit the newbies forum and read the sticky at the top of the page

Why didnt you fix that before you painted it? Not much of a test fitter aye?

Hmmmm....that seems to be a little to much to me?

L-brackets would be a help but dang...that seems to be too much "wave" from the previous rears I've seen?

Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?

I just used 2 tiny screws to hold it down while it was unpainted then filled them and later had to re dill and put the screws back in. Mine now sits flat.

i took the bumper off, and had a bracket of metal screwed into it from underneath, filled it in and painted it... worked for me.

why are you selling? and when are you leaving? how much are you trying to get for it? - pm me, im not tryin to thread jack

i didnt do any of the fitting of the kit at all, the body shop did it, they said that theve never seen a rubber kit before, and theyve been doing body for over 25 years

ITS FREAKEN URATHANE, they also didnt pay attention to details, when they painted it, so rk sport said to put silicon under it and press it over night and it should come out flat, flat my ass!!

since thats what rk sport wants to do im thinking about screwing a long flat piece of metal on top of the bumper asorber, then press it down
