we will never advance as a species while such biggotry in government is allowed to exist. they have nukes, why shouldnt they be allowed? afraid they might use them? we have them, maybe they are afraid we will use them? indeed having a country which has a "unique" religion have nukes seems a bit scary "your women walk free aomng you, die infidels!" maybe not like that, but the idea is expressed.

There's 5 Canadian fast-Frigates and battle ships in the Persian Gulf patrolling under UN/NATO mandate, they've been there for the last 10 years pretty much non-stop. The Canadian portion of the battle group is responsible for the US/UK/Spanish/Itallian Navies upgrading and updating their boarding parties to include regular crew members.

I know this topic has nothing to do with health care, but since others brought it up, I find it important to let it be known that according to the World Health Organization, France actually has the #1 ranked health care system in the world, and it is socialized. The United States actually comes in 37th on that very same list. The reality is our health care system is fine for many people... but many others don't even have access to health care. Regardless, it's highly unlikely that France has any desire to make their health care system more like ours.
