insufficint temp..............

I have a 96 cavalier 2.2 and awhile back it threw a code and i went and got it read and it said insufficient temp for fuel loop what exactly does this mean??? I figured it means car running to cold since that's what my car is doing and i cant seem to fix it!!!!

A 195 i changed it 3 weeks ago and its still wont heat up

but what brand? stants generally dont have a strong enough spring to keep closed on the ln2 due to how close it is to the water pump.

I'm not really sure i know it came from O'reilly Auto Parts I will have to check the box to get the brand but what brand do you per fer and where do you pick one up at??

another thought... is your car not actually achieving proper running temp? if it is, it may be your coolant temp sensor.

Yea I though about that but i threw that out because if it was just the sensor the heater would still work and it doesn't but i have to wait till Thursday till i can order my new thermostat and hopefully it'll help I'll let you know thanks again though

Well, finally got the thermostat and got it installed and everyhting works great i've had it on for 3 days now and it hasn't gave me any problems so far so thanks again for your help!!!!
