Hey guys,I posted this in the nitrous forum too, but i thought i would throw it in here also as i know some people may not look there, anyways I was wondering if it would be alright for me to run a 35 shot with the m62 with a 3.0 pulley on it?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Josh

isnt that kind of close to what the stock rods can handle?
http://www.cobalt-addiction.com/performance.htm this might help
what system to use?
There is Zex,Nx, nitrous oxide systems?
Also i pretty sure i know the answer to this? does fuel on the rotors of the supercharger ruin them?
Also can fuel pump and ignition handle nitrous and blower?

If its a wet kit it will have to be a direct port kit. The fuel will eat the tephlon off the charger blades
5th gen m62 doesnt have said coating

in the event your that concerned about it you can get a spacer plate that does under the charger thats tapped for a nozzle i think its made by intense
with that kinda power though your just asking to break a ring land, i wouldnt do it unless you have a built bottom end

Thanks guys for help, I think it might be smart to stick to what i have, since it has all stock internals installed, i just wanted to change things up, its been the same for too long lol
Considering the charger itself is capable of snapping a rod.... sure why not

DO it and then rebuild breken engine. BOO
Or build a stronger engine, swap it in, then do it. (YES)
Either way if you wanna do it an engine rebuild is in your future.

Yes
It does.
all of you take your rotors out, see that blackish stuff, now scratch it with a knife, see how it comes off?

I'd say as long as its a dry kit. The lower manifold with intercooler core looks like the ultimate fuel collector for fuel to puddle in. Add that to a little back fire into the intake and it could blow that supercharger right off the motor. Using a dry kit you don't face this danger.
A direct port is the best way to go but you won't be able to spray nearly as small as a 35 shot.

logistically i dont believe a direct port would be possible

i run a wet 35 shot just fine.. a 35 shot is not that much more fuel. And i don't think i have ever heard of someone puddling with 1. boost, and 2. such a small shot...but then again I haven't played with nitrous for too long
