hesitation in gm s/c?

i remember reading this somewhere before, but i couldn't find it. yesterday i got a little hesitation when accelerating about 1/2 throttle. press the gas, and it took like a second or so to move. anyone else had this problem and know why it does it?

At less than full throttle, it was probably the time it took for the bypass valve to close.

Kinda feels like turbo lag, eh? Give 'er more gas and it will open quicker.

sounds like the problem with the sc reflash program. I get that sometimes, did it feel like the car was about to stall or did it sputter or a second then kinda jump into power?

no, its not like lag, i've felt the lag on this s/c before....

its more like u press the gas and the car doesn't move, then suddenly like the car jerks forward (like if the bypass valve closed, but wayyyy late). its kinda scary actually if u're trying to make a turn with oncoming cars.

as for the stalling thing, no, i've felt that, the rpms drop to about 500 then bounce back up. i can tell it does that, but for me its not that big of a problem in my auto since my rpms normally rest near 600 anyway

Could be a bad TPS sensor to. Or going bad.

It could be the TPS, but I'd check the MAP sensor too because I've had that same problem before and the hesitation was due to a faulty MAP sensor.

Had a MAP problem causing BIGTIME hesitation here. Wiring connection wasn't solid. Check that first.
