I'm sure it's been asked way too many times, but I'm gonna ask anyway.
I want to get Axis Decades with the maxis rear wide lip. As far as I know 18x8 is the only size, but is available in different offsets (+35,&+40mm). I would use 225/40/18 tire. Which offset would do you think would look best? Would the +40 have minimal inner clearance? Guess i should mention I will be using a coilover setup(TEIN SS i think) with a drop similar to Sportlines.

Also, so nobody gets confused about the Maxis lip concept, the offsets DO NOT change front to rear for the wide rear lip. Example: Thre are a regular and a maxis rim in +35MM and regular and maxis rim in +40MM. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I'd go with 40 mm. You should have no issues with inner clearance and don't want to end up cutting tire on the fender if they're too far out.
