ok whats the process for switching from a 96 Z24 auto with tach instument cluster to an auto with tach sunfire cluster as far as wiring goes.....is it a straight swap after i get the odometer set to the correct mileage? will it just plug right in and work ?
I did that to my 03 and it was plug and play, but not sure about pre 2000
00-05 is plug-n-play.
For 95-99 you have to address the odometer issue (generally with a sticker somewhere on the car indicating the values when the switch was made) and I'm not sure if they'll just plug right in.
