I was re-wrapping my headliner in black vinyl, but because of the 2nd gen styling and with the sunroof, the headliner broke apart and I was without one for around 8 months until I found a 1990 Sunbird GT with a sunroof that I was able to get one out of...headliner was beat up, but it lasted until I found a 89 Z24 with a black interior that I got the headliner out of...

i like the headliner..but the door panels im not a big fan of...cuz vinyl points when you fold it around rounded corners...i like strait things...im doin mine in headliner material..but good work on the headliner

yeah, unless you cut your corners to near profection its hard to get vinyl to fold right.

I think mine turned out OK. its not CatSkinz good, but its good enough for me.

wow, that looks like foe snake skin, the patern is so large on the vinyl, good luck with it, but the door panel looks terrible IMO. if you want to do the arm rest, heat up the edge at the sharp turns and STRETCH, will look a billion times better

Yeah... sorry man. It's a good effort, and that's how you learn this stuff, but that door panel really needs to be redone. Think of it as practice.

it'll work for now... The picutres really don't do it justices, but it does help dress it up a little.

I still have to do the front doors. and maybe the arm rest cover.

their just telling you it looks like @!#$. hopefully the pics dont do it any justice because you can see in the corners how bad it is. wheather you wanna fix it or not is up to you. you want everyone to sugar-coat everything and tell people everything on their cars look good? the headliner looks good and the door panels look good too but the corners for the door panel just need to be re-worked thats all.

if this is your first time........ great job on the headliner.... just looks like a few bubles.
your dorrs, look a little crappy, but if you are satisfied with it, then good.
i would suggest, redoin it in time, just so it looks nice and clean, and DEFINATLY use a hairdryer...........
the bubles, you will have to work out when you lay the vinyl dawn, but after a few tries, you'll figure it out.......
remember to start from the center of whatever youre doing, and get a really good coat of adhesive, on both parts.
The way i see it......... you have the initiative to do custom, but if you don't post, and get criticism, then you won't learn, on how to do it better next time.........
i'm sure you never even thought about using a hairdryer...... see what we all from the org do? just help you out.... not trying to bash you

you hate the org sometimes because someone told you a better way of doing it? guess no one should give any tips on how to do it right.

headliner looks okay but the door piece is bad. the pic does it plenty of justice, if you can see wrinkles in the pictures, in reality its going to look worse, thats not a slam that is just reality. get some good vinyl and heat it up with a heat gun or hair dryer, and youll problaby need some better glue to hold it down. thats probably your main problem. 3m vinyl top glue works great and hold up. none of the other 3m glues work as good with vinyl. take it back off, try it again with the tips i and navycav3 said, and chance are youlle have a much better result.

it does look really bad on the door... i know you didnt ask...

get a vinyl with less of a pattern... and yes, yank it tight, and use a staple gun, good luck!
