Dome light to red LED... trunk?
Wednesday, February 01, 2006 1:02 PM
I got some red neons for my footwells and I love them, now I want to replace my dome light with a red LED (first one one listed here http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html)

Sounds easy enough and hopefully I'll get a decent red glow, but I was wondering, what's the part number for the trunk light and is there a Superbrightleds part that would fit to make that red, too?

Speaking of which, I noticed in ur CarDomain page you cleared your knobs - got any pics at night? I kinda wanna do it, but I heard the knobs look ugly yellow at night?

To get in behind there to switch the lights how do you go about removing that piece?

ebayed the PN and looked for red,. but they sent me a pink one. Nothing a red sharpie couldnt' fix. It's been red for a good 3 months now. The footwells/under seats are red cathodes.

Working on a custom setup using LED's from LSdiodes.com.

maplights are already in. domelight i'm installing when i have time.

It's really easy to do, and easy to customise to whatever you want to have color-wise.
