IDK but i always liked these - http://www.corbeau.com/products/2_inch_belts/2_inch.shtml#

I would keep ur stockers if I were you unless you are running a harness bar or cage.
If you do still decide to use harnesses, mount them right or you can hurt urself.

I would get a sparco harness, with camlock. They work great.

Anything thats NHRA or DOT approved....

Keep in mind that if not installed at a proper angle, they are dangerous for road use... only show is recommended.

I'm not sure if i really want to wear a stock seat belt . The stock belt seems to be seem uncomfortable to wear in a racing seats to me. I think it would look pretty silly to have your car look like a racer with the momo steering wheel and racing seats BUT have stock Ugly seat belts. MY opinon. But thanks for the heads up ....

Just because it looks like a racer, doesn't mean it's engineered like one.

Safety first!

That's just plain stupid.

Will you ride a motorcycle without a helmet, just because it doesn't match your shirt?

I guess I can only offer good advice. I can't make idiots take it.

so nice to see kids now adays care more about how cool they look versus how cool they'd look dead in an accident.

"...with a roll cage, you either need a whole bunch of padding or you shouldn't be driving without a helmet. You can see how this all becomes pretty impractical for a street driven car."

Safety should be everyone's number one concern. Other drivers can be unpredictable on the road and accidents happen every day. I lost my 03 Cavalier when an old woman ran a red light. I was safe, my stock seat belt held me firmly in place. I owe my life to it... but I want to be safer in case next time I'm not so lucky. I don't want to die on my way to the grocery store.

So considering that a fatal accident is more likely to happen on the road than the autocross track in our cars, what does everyone think is the most practical for making a Jbody safer on the road? If a roll cage presents it's own problems (hitting your head on it)... what's the solution?

i'd say stock seatbelts. or a certified harness with a roll cage.

i have been a paramedic for many years and have seen a lot of people die in car accidents. now im not gonna say that wild weasel is wrong, i know from my personal experience that many of the people the die with race harnesses, dont tighten them down enougn! get the shoulder pads and tighten them down. also look into getting a 5 point, i have 2 and they arent that bad, i like it more than the 4 point because it restricts your vertical movement. all im sayin is that if you have an accident serious enough to need a roll cage, you probably arent gonna walk away regaurdless of what kind of belt you use.
you can take the wisdom that i have bestowed upon you and use it or throw it away. i dont know about the rest of the guyz on here but i have seen every possible auto accident you can imagine with every possibly type of car you can imagine.

oh and by the way, this is what i have corbeau 5 pt cam lock slvr

If on eBay, it's probably not real Ralliart gear. But real Ralliart is Mitsubishi factory racing gear, so if that gives an idea on the quality...

Make sure when you mount the harnesses they are at no more than a 45deg. angle and no more than 6" below the shoulder. That's the proper way to mount them, which typically requires a cage or a harness bar. Anymore than 45deg and even a small impact can cause your spine to compress and it's gonna hurt like hell.
