Cluster Problem
Sunday, October 26, 2008 6:02 PM
so I installed a new cluster today, did the theftlock relearn, the whole bit. Everything's in order, the cluster lights up but the gauges themselves do not work; speedometer, etc. Any suggestions or is this cluster f'ed?

my car's a '96 cavalier, the cluster I got was out of a 96 cavalier, the only difference is that the cluster is from a manual and I have an automatic but as far as I've researched there should be no problem, only difference would be the gear indicator. Like I said, I plugged it in, and did the theftlock relearn and everything's fine; no warning lights, the gauges light up as they should, the only hitch is that the needles aren't moving. The wiring harness is still perfect, it hasn't been tampered with or anything so I'm still trying to figure this out, any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.
